Fish Factory: Iceland 2025
Creative Center of Stöðvarfjörður, Iceland
On a remote fjord in eastern Iceland in the village of Stöðvarfjörður there is the Creative Center. 6 of us from 3 different countries spent 26 days together making work and exploring the incredible surroundings. I explored new directions in abstraction through small works on paper, a ritual for lost friends and lots of photography and video. I will continue to mine the rich experience and artifacts of my time there.

The Banff campus provided a great environment for exploring new directions in my work. I began to work with wax and combine it with familiar materials and techniques. I started a concept piece utilizing a wire grid which developed into an installation I exhibited following the residency.
